Tahini and
Halva
These are 100%
natural product .
They are free
from any additives for preservation .
They are good
stable products ; due to presence of powerful natural
antioxidants present in sesame seeds .
Tahini ... ?
Tahini is made
by grinding pure & clean sesame seeds into a fine paste .
Sesame seeds are
very rich in poly-unsaturated oils .
It is an
excellent appitizer , used to make different salads , and is
also presented with many different high class food dishes ;
especially fish and meat .
Halva ... ?
Halva is made of
: tahini , sugar , root extract , citric acid , natural
flavoring .
Sugar solution ,
with root extract , and citric acid , are mixed and cooked at
high temperature for a few hours .
The result is a
crystallized solution to which Tahini and natural flavors are
added to produce Halva.
It is a so
delicious food , especially when eaten in warm French baguettes
, with slices of banana , strawberry , chocolate , and also
nuts , pistachio , and almond ... etc. .
Shelf Life of
Tahini and Halva ... ?
Tahini and halva
can retain their quality up to 2 years from the date of
production - in a dry cool place - ambient temperature .
Storing
Tahini and Halva ... ?
Must be in a dry
place , at a cool ambient temperature .
Exposing Tahini
or Halva to heat for a prolonged time separates its oil ,
making an oil layer at its top .
However ; this
oil separation process is natural in case of long storage .
Therefore ;
Tahini , must be stirred to become homogeneous .
While Halva , is
prefered to be stored in refrigerators , and consumers may
enjoy its fantastic cold taste .
